I watched this film because I knew how divisive it was and that I had to form my own opinion on something with a reputation like it has. After watching it I still feel almost none the wiser, so it's going to have to go on the list for a rewatch where I can really take it all in

Go, Go Second Time Virgin 1969
Maybe someone can find some artistic merit in what this movie represents but not me. I was wondering in the beginning if this is supposed to be art or sexploitation and it's probably both but I can't reconcile the two. Perhaps there could have been something done with the concept but the execution just was not there in my opinion.

Amazing performances by much of the cast but I feel like this movie was just written and directed rather poorly despite having a good core concept. When it started and I felt like it was setting up to be David Cronenberg's 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' I was ready to enjoy it, but it seemed like the movie couldn't quite execute the idea. I know the intent was to criticise the industries which have lead women to having these issues…
