Adolescence 2025
The portrayal of this high school hit me like a punch to the gut. feels 1 to 1 with my own experiences down to the cold, grey colours of the classrooms. I had to hold back tears all through the second episode because it was so real, and well written. I think this is a series so many people need to watch. While much of it is dramatised (emojis…?) it is overwhelmingly close to home for me as an Australian teen and I’m sure it is true for the British teens this is about.
