Good performances and sparkling cinematography but the plot left much to be desired in terms of depth and edge. Felt more like An Intro To BDSM For Dummies than the risqué, subversive psychosexual drama I had hoped for (see, eg.: Eyes Wide Shut, Sanctuary).
