It was better than I thought it would be.
I thought Moana “leveling up” at the end would be awful but it was kind of cool. A good amount of the music was decent and the plot wasn’t horrible.
That being said it just wasn’t nearly as good as the first and a lot of the added parts of the movie felt pointless. Having other people and Pua go on the journey with Moana this time felt rather pointless. They helped a bit but I feel like it’s better with just Maui and Moana.

It was a good movie.
There were definitely some great elements to this movie in my opinion. The jokes were funny, the action was decent and the robots were cool.
That being said it felt like the movie threw a ton of popular actors and music into it to try and push itself to the next level when I think I did the opposite. I feel like it would have been better with some lesser known actors.
Overall, a decent movie with some flaws.

Not as good as I remember it being, but it still has some jokes that land well and the adult jokes and references to the games are funny.
