Great film, it's biggest issue is that it doesn't show enough of the game in my opinion. But I get that they're trying to cram a lot into 2 hours. Other than that, spectacular film, loved every second!

Whisper of the Heart 1995
I think I'll have to rewatch this, not just because my friends wouldn't shut it during the movie, but because I enjoyed it so much despite that! It's so simple compared to the outlandish nature of many other Ghibli films, but it still manages to impress as usual. Great watch!

I want to rate this so low, but the cinematography was so well done that it would discredit the clear amount of work put into this. This was messed up on every level and gave me such a clear window into how abusers worked in a situation that is so different to how it'd normally be percieved. I was gagged at every moment, with exception to the suicide, which felt obvious given the circumstances. But yeah, I'd rather never think about this again!
