Hope. It was hope. Because wasn't that all that was left after Pandora's box was opened, after all the evils and all the sins left? And that's also what was left in that box for Red to find.
And I'd now like to think that there's a little Pandora's box within us all, leaking its evils and sorrows and that all that'll be left in that box in the end is hope. Undying, everlasting hope, hope that nobody else will ever be able to take away from us.
