Tess 1979
May be the most beautifully shot film that I've ever seen. The cinematography, the environments, the use of natural lighting is insane. Every shot looks like a fucking painting (and I always hate it when people say that).
It's not a "romance" film, it's a depiction of pure agony. Highlights of the film are the women and the fact that you're never bored despite the 3h runtime. Also, the "roof" scene is some of the coolest shit I've ever seen…
