Jesus, this film messed me up. The whole beginning is spent making you think that Keith is some creepy villain.. only for him to be the first casualty.
The mother is such a tragic monster. To be born from generations of rape and inbreeding, and only wanting to have a baby of her own, it's such a depressing character to see. And at the end of the movie, you feel more bad for her than you do scared.
