  Does anybody know why the movie focuses so heavily on earrings despite them being such small almost insignificant at times objects? I'm sure none of us missed Nina's heart earrings at the start and how she plays with them when anxious. To add on the diamond earrings she wore later on in the movie are so obvious in the sense you can clearly see she is wearing them. Usually jewellery in movie is overlooked especially dainty pieces like the ones…

  It was a visceral watch. The cinematography and the score were all very well done. Despite that this was definitely not an enjoyable watch. It's a very well made movie in the sense that it pinpoints a deeper meaning of addiction and really depicts how it can affect you and others.

  I felt as if Marion and Harry’s dynamic perfectly depicted how the hunger for drugs overcomes true relationships and feelings and how addiction transforms individuals into senseless and angry…
