  I took German for 10 years, and I’ve seen this movie about 20 times. I can’t remember a time when hearing the title didn’t make me want to punch a wall. 

  I truly hope German teachers have found another movie by now.

  “You won’t even remember that you’re dying.” 

  Thank you to the queer artists who tear themselves open to show us the nature of repression and the loneliness it brings along with it. 

  The visuals are beautiful and surreal, the narrative is straightforward in a way, and yet it’s almost hard to grasp, because you’re busy feeling. 

  While it’s more polished than We’re All Going to the World’s Fair, the gritty scenes and sfx from the pink opaque stand out even more.
