Pan's Labyrinth 2006
On the surface, i thoroughly enjoyed Pan's Labyrinth's mystical element. It felt like a more traumatized remake of Peter Pan, but far more mesmerizing. I think that trauma is the correct word when describing both this and The Devil’s Backbone (2001), as they are pretty much two sides of the same coin.
