  is it fundamentally too long and too slow paced? yes, which is frustrating because bits of it are well crafted - it effectively skips the most boring parts of a time loop plot only to devote lots of minutes to a few VERY slow scenes. and it’s especially frustrating because it feels like the pacing could be fixed seemingly by just cutting out the ex… then again; “i always thought you’d be a good mother,” “that is so condescending coming…
