This was NOT a horror. Count Orlock was from a different generation so therefore had different ideals and morals to the younger generations featured in this film. Ive psychoanalysed this quote ‘cutie patootie’ man. Yes i can hear you screaming at your screens ‘He plagued a whole city!’ ‘He’s a demon spawn’ and i hear you. It’s okay to be upset. But deep deep down this poor lonely man was longing for love and a maybe a hug? Dunno! Takes one to know one.
