  This is an Oscar-nominated film? I used to go to movies to escape how awful the world is. Now these films are worse. It’s all sensationalism. Any hope that this said anything worthwhile about body image is lost in how senselessly over the top this thing was. I kept waiting for it to redeem itself, but nope. Just got ever more awful and stupid until it was over and I had wasted a perfectly good evening. 

  Maybe I really am too old… nah. This really was pretty damned bad.

  One of my 'comfort' movies, in as much as a movie containing firearms and explosives can be comforting. It's the kind of thing you watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Good time-passer. Seen many times, always like it.
