    this movie was overall really good. It is so beautifully shot, I was sitting at the edge of my seat, and I found it abrasive, boundary pushing, raw, and violent. There are a few acts in this movie that do SUCH a phenomenal job, and overall the actors do a great job at selling the scene.

    However, I do have some really glaring issues.

    This film is the kind that makes you think about your loved ones and the experiences of your past. Throughout this film, I just kept picturing how my grandparents felt losing their son to drug abuse. The performances of everyone involved were perfect.     This movie was everything wrong with hollywood today. It was unbelievably boring, I felt connected to none of the characters, and the majority of the acting was awful. The Butcher had no good established motive, and the plot felt like a block of swiss cheese.
