I can't believe I missed this! A spiritual successor to Hereditary? Ok, count me in. HUGH GRANT? The religions theories I'd never know I need, the Radiohead references, it got my brain fried for weeks starting from now. Of all the psychological thrillers I've consumed, this one unequivocally takes the cake. Both the vintage rendition and its 2023 reincarnation got me flabbergasted from the outset. The film masterfully toys with our perceptions, leaving us perpetually questioning whether it's misinterpretation, the innocence of childhood, or perhaps a sinister blend of both that drives the narrative. Worth to watch.
