Better Man 2024
I want to start with: I didn’t hate the movie.
I watched this at Beyond Fest with maybe a half-full theater. The first half of this movie is fun and fantastical, a lot of big swings that pay off. The audience even clapped after the sequence set to Rock DJ! It was a seductive first half, though.
The second half is self-indulgent and gives us some visuals that are so unintentionally ridiculous that it was hard not to laugh at…
