  My favorite Disney of all-time, what else can I say that hasn't been said by a lot of people? Everything was fantastic from the engaging story, memorable characters, vibrant animation, S-tier main villain in Scar, and a memorable soundtrack. Speaking of the soundtrack, it had all the essential song types from the intro song, hero song, friend song, love song, and of course, the villain song. Even the instrumental tracks were fantastic.

  Mortal Kombat 1995

  ★★★½ Rewatched 13 May 2024

  Minus the pacing, lack of blood of gore that the games are known for, special effects, and certain character development, this is a good martial arts film based on a popular video game franchise. Have to mention Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Shang Tsung. He was perfect to portray the evil sorcerer of Outworld just like Raul Julia in Street Fighter. "YOUR SOUL IS MINE!"

  Is it better than the 2021 version? Hard to say. They each have their own pros and cons. I enjoy both films for different reasons.
