Until the End of the World

An epic journey marked by an equally profound Q&A session by Wim himself.

    ★★★★½

"This is to call my dead friends back from the night."

So writes Ronny Sen, the director of Cat Sticks. The opening line reverberates throughout, because it is in essence, a story about a bunch of people who are living, but not alive. Set in a post-apocalyptic timeline (although the visual cues and dialogues suggest somewhere around 2006), Cat Sticks follows a group of drug addicts in rain-drenched Calcutta. Alongside other things, Cat Sticks feels a firsthand account, drawn from Sen's own experiences and close associations with people engaged in substance abuse.
