  I'll be completely honest, this probably would have received five stars just on the dialogue alone; overexaggerated aristocratic quibbling is just sooo much fun to watch.   As for me, this festive shirt burned my skin like ember. To put on a disguise once more? That what was dishonest on the tournament field shall be a noble virtue in war? That which ashamed me should bring glory to the king? Aren't we supposed to fight for a noble goal with noble tools? How could our knight king enable such a guile?

  Incredible oil painted animation paired with a resounding orchestral score all topped off with a medieval…

  Wowee, that was absolutely terrible. I think this may be my least favorite movie I’ve ever seen. As a big fan of the original series, this was nearly unwatchable as none of the characters were anything like their original counterparts (Bunta being an abusive and horny drunk), some characters weren’t even in it (Keisuke and Iketani), and the soundtrack was awful (no eurobeat is always a sin). 

  
  This isn’t even getting started on the horrible editing seen throughout the movie.…
