  True modern western cowboy movie...this plot could have been thrown into any era of western and worked, wouldn't be surprised if storyline was a rip from past western movie...soundtrack is noticeably good for most scenes...there is good dialogue and a mutable effect coming from most characters that seems to stem from a painful life of seeing maNY things and experiencing hurts but,not being the type to express or wear that pain, a lot of strong silent cowboys

  Liked the revolutionary aspect. The love bond of family. Progressive yet archaic lifestyle...the literary references left a lot to be desired, and though the fact that the family alltogether kind of fell under a narrow naturalist philosophy was while probable in its realism, it was a little disappointing for its lack of exploration
