  Misguided and insensitive has to be the best way to describe it. This movie has several ideias(too many) and it manages to not expand on any of them in any meaningful way. The transition, Emilia's relationship with her wife or new lover. The way she decided to atone for her crimes. The songs are terrible, the dancing, the framing and the editing are so awkward that at times I felt like I watching a parody of a serious movie. You can tell that the actors all tried their best but there's only so much you can do.
