the way the film started with a sense of impending dread simmering beneath the surface—lurking behind the laughter and false sense of security—completely gripped me from the start and never let go. knowing this was based on a true story, I really appreciated how it explored the ripple effects of trauma, showing how some wounds never truly heal and some stories never find real closure.
