  The ending song being Knocking on Heaven’s door is actually pretty brilliant. Original by Bob Dylan, most people recognize the Guns n’ Roses version, and we get Sophie Thatcher’s cover at credits. Iterations bro, iterations. Great time.

  People used to actually risk their lives trying to make compelling films in times of severe political unrest, often times out of necessity. This is a sloppy and cringe “doesn’t this shit feel like it could happen?” thought exercise at best. Alex Garland is a hack. This shit sucks.

  The now senile Francis Ford Coppola is completely all the way lasered the fuck in, both hands in full control of the janky glitz, slamming them together into a supernova of intentional and unintentional hilarity. What the hell are these people in even talking about 80% of the time in this movie? Why is everyone so gorgeous and confused and doing god knows what while dressed like a scooby doo character? I have a million questions. Every scene tops the next one. It’s an utter nonsense funhouse. I can’t believe this at all.
