  I have this four stars however I don’t know if I really “gel” with this one. 

  First of all it’s beautiful, like the most beautiful film I have scene from 2024 by a landslide, this should be the undisputed winner for best cinematography and that fact it isn’t makes me really think about what kind of people vote in the awards because it’s telling.

  The first person view is a little distracting for me in both good ways and bad…

  It’s taken me waaaaaayy too long to watch this, I’m so glad I did. What an emotional and at times harrowing movie.

  The action is brutal and doesn’t hold back, no wonder actual D Day survivors have said it is too hard to watch this as it is so realistic to what happened. The characters all have great arcs that explore how war affects everyone differently. Straight banger all my homies hate war.

  There’s a reason this movie has a cult following and it’s because it is ironically just an amazing movie.

  I love gimmick films so much and this is up there’s as one of the best. The plot device of a remote that controls everything has so many cool ideas that they do actually explore like commentary, behind the scenes and more.

  It has a really nice message about family, the jokes all land and the finish film feeling inspired funnily enough which is what most films should aim to do.
