Do all lovers feel like they're inventing something?
Absolutely in awe of how wonderfully shot this film was. The piercingly green and brown set of eyes, they directed the movie. The dimly lit, haunting rooms, windy cliffsides, the grand green gown, the bold brushstrokes leaving behind patches of paint: all little visual treats. With perfectly fleshed out characters, the movie has been painted beautifully, quietly building up to a masterfully orchestrated mighty crescendo (much like Vivaldi's four seasons). There's this one twenty-second shot of her dancing frivolously through the street, so beautifully shot. God I love monochrome. It's a small bout of denial, no solid narrative development, random events and observations strung together beautifully, doused with perfectly timed, witty humor.
