Forgot to log my review after I watched this over Christmas. It’s good and I definitely preferred it this time as opposed to when I first watched it, but the ending is so rushed that just when you get emotionally invested it feels like they’re copping out and trying to clear Elton’s name. Ruins the film IMO

Better Man 2024
To make the obvious comparison - it’s pretty much the same story as Rocket Man but so much better. Not as self indulgent, much more introspective and I barely thought about the fact that he was a monkey. My only complaint is that the bloke who was supposed to be Liam Gallagher looked nothing like him 😂
