Albeit often fun, Investigation of A Citizen Above Suspicion is, well, a good movie hidden under the veil of a masterpiece. So many elements feel carefully crafted, working in tandem to create art, almost fooling the viewer into thinking higher of the film than it ultimately should be. A real practice of substance over style.
