  I don’t use Letterboxd often, but I have to write something for this film. This is, upon first viewing, one of my favorite movies of all time. While I have never experienced loss to the scale which these characters undergo, the ways in which fear can mangle the present by wrenching our eyes towards the past is debilitating and hits very close to home.   Was going to give 4 stars but for a movie about trains there wasn’t much emphasis put on the train. The story was very heartfelt, however we never even got the make or model of the train being used, and only got two major scenes which even showed the cockpit. And even then, among all the succulent technology they could have showcased in wonderful display, the father only pointed out what ‘might’ be the breaks?? Like come on. It’s called…
