I don’t use Letterboxd often, but I have to write something for this film. This is, upon first viewing, one of my favorite movies of all time. Was going to give 4 stars but for a movie about trains there wasn’t much emphasis put on the train. The story was very heartfelt, however we never even got the make or model of the train being used, and only got two major scenes which even showed the cockpit. And even then, among all the succulent technology they could have showcased in wonderful display, the father only pointed out what ‘might’ be the breaks?? Like come on. It’s called…
