  Would be 5 stars if there wasn't so much shaky cam in the action scenes. This movie really earns being two and a half hours. There's not a single wasted scene or character in the entire film.

  Robert Eggers is very quickly becoming my favorite new director. His ability to create a film with fantastic performances, amazing visuals, and rich story all on a low budget is incredibly impressive. I gave this movie a 5 because I don't think I would change a single thing about this film. My favorite part was definitely the cinematography.

  Really fascinating movie. I loved the blend of practical and cgi, made for some very striking visuals. I see many other reviews here talking about the ai title cards, which is 100 percent a shame and I wish ai was not becoming a part of filmmaking now. However, the title cards are a very minor part of the film and, in my opinion, does not take away from the overall experience of the film. Really interesting work and I love the performances in this movie.
