    It has it all.

    Portrait de la Jeune Fille en Feu checks every box for me. I cannot give enough praise to the acting, writing, set, cut, blocking (!), but especially music, sound design and mixing. They all work in unison to bring out an almost hypnotic quality from the depths of this razor sharp art direction. I've hardly seen something like this before. It's a different, minimalist approach to cinema that resonated with me really well.
