this cheesy spy movie lesbian romcom is everything that disney was too cowardly to do with kim possible. the cyber futurism vibes were so shamelessly early 2000s and i fucking loved it. peak cinema.

The House 2022
loved the creative direction in this, it's v reminiscent of wes anderson's oddball surrealism but with the artsy horror feel of animated tim burton/coraline-type movies. narratively, the overall pacing felt cohesive and i appreciated the subtle parallels to tie the 3 stories together nicely. honestly, the set designs & attention to detail is everything. maybe i'm biased bc i admire the craft behind stop motion animation but i can't imagine another medium more fitting to have told these stories.
