  This movie holds up a lens and takes an uncomfortable peep into the reality of a lot of Americans in the early 2000s. I disagree with a lot of creative choices throughout the span of the movie. For example, the choice of not showing anyone actually do drugs and just skipping through it like clockwork was cool but kinda overkill.
  The scene where he shoots up in the back of a taxi cab should've been shot real time and the constant use of split screen in unnecessary moments irked me a lot.
