A Complete Unknown 2024
I’ll be honest, I had never explored into Bob’s life before this but I will speak on my review as an artist. There is a lot of strange components behind writing, performing and overall being an artist. This did well at capturing a lot of that nuance that others fail to capture.
Kudos to Timothee for his performance, it was certainly enchanting. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

A Real Pain 2024
An honest, funny and at times confronting story (at least for me). For his directorial debut Eisenberg has smashed it. From the performances especially Kieran Culkin (demon) to the beautiful cinematography to the then, fleshing out of emotional nuances this really hit home. Great flick.

Ex Machina 2015
Upon re-watching, I felt a little underwhelmed as opposed to how I felt after the first time. The performances as good, the overall narrative is good, but maybe that’s it. A solid film, which I think is carried by the idea of ai and consciousness. Nevertheless, still one of the best films I’ve seen that tackle this question around human / artificial.
