  I wasn't sure he could manage it, but sure enough, Tarantino got his foot in the door for this one. I had a lot of fun, especially when they killed that guy Adolf.

  It was weirdly funnier than I expected, but I'm not sure that's the best narrative choice. Comedy should carefully guide a strong satire, but this  movie wasn't always willing to decide if it was satire or not, especially with such a serious subject matter. Ironically, the movie about how sex workers are so often ignored forgot who our titular character was for a while. 

  But the positives: the tension reminded me of Uncut Gems in a really good way. And Mikey…

  Not even kidding, I cried to this. Somehow writing whatever first came to mind in the screenplay worked. And it's actually funny. Not ironically funny, actually funny. The escape hatch in the ass? Pure cinema. Petey becomes a better man–or rather cat–and it's genuinely believable. Who wouldn't want to be a better person for li'l Petey? Now I want a kid. I've never wanted a kid.
