The Substance 2024
It really is one of those grotesque beauties that are made very rarely. I didn't just love it, I was completely fascinated by the way in which a message can be conveyed without touching the morbidity of those who see it, just to see how disgusting it is, simply sublime. That fucking ending is epic. I felt like I was in this century's Carrie.
A good way to represent those of us who sometimes don't know how to stop and are driven to the brink of collapse. It was one of my favorites of the year, without a doubt.
