  an adult's story disguised as a children's movie.

  this altered my brain chemistry. i LOVED this movie so much everything about it was right up my alley.
  visually one of the most breathtakingly beautiful movies i've ever seen (ironic considering its awful poster) and i think it's worth a watch for that alone. the cinematography was so stunning that every shot should be framed and i'm so obsessed with the unique costumes (shoutout eiko ishioka).
