  It felt like a film that mocked the audience. The effect it wanted to achieve was very tiring for the viewer. I couldnt feel the presence of a full subtext while watching..but I had seen many references to other films beforehand–The Shining, Lost Highway, Psycho, A Space Odyssey. The film’s cinematographic choices were vsry bold. It draws its aesthetics from there at times.
