When a movie is made in France it's called cinemas. How come that's different?

I'm pretty sure I was just the right kind of high for this movie and it still kinda sucked. The melting was overall pretty good but everything else was aggressively meh. And Sockle suckles.
This is a very nice, heartwarming character study about 3 longtime friends, until it very much isn't. There's a somewhat jarring change in tone around act 3, and the build to it is very well done, nothing outright bad happens leading up to it, but the whole movie just starts exuding bad, uncomfortable vibes before the other shoe finally drops. This movie really shouldn't work. A post-apocalypic musical Wizard of Oz with an overarching theme of Rock and Roll vs Metal, with shades of Mad Max, Lone Wolf and Cub, The Warriors, and classic Hong Kong action movies. It should be too out there and crazy to even begin to work. But it does work, due largely to the absolute love and passion radiating out of every frame of this movie.
