this film carries the spirit of self destruction, the fact that the band got together to make a unique presentation is the most punk thing ever, Dries is really a villain and his shadow hangs over all the characters, his distance from that reality in which he is inserted is what allows him to be so cold (him or anyone really)
Plus great direction lots of nice details the movie goes like a train

I wouldn't call myself a huge horror fan despite having watched many over the years, few have made me feel as satisfied as this one, honestly this movie is my yardstick for the genre, I'll watch anything that resembles the atmosphere of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Unfortunately, horror cannibalizes itself and every sequel made is a waste of time but no matter how bad it is (or will be), it will never scratch this film's legacy.
