A luxurious folk horror experience, like slipping into a skin-coat made from last harvest's May Queen.
Where to begin... The incredible musical numbers, the creeping sense of dread closing in on the protagonist, Christopher Lee! This movie absolutely rips. Not perfect by any means but the imperfections of editing, sound, etc. only serve to add to the charm of the whole thing.
