It’s like if super sugary cereal was a movie, I would’ve loved this as a child but wow this movie feels like it was made for IPad kids. To be fair, that’s not a bad thing, I would’ve loved definitely show this to a kid, but perhaps maybe, just maybe, I was not the target demographic for this movie…

Rango 2011
As much as I love the "wild west" style and tone, I despise the desert as a setting. Dry, dusty locales really irk me, and Rango is one of the driest movies I've ever seen. It bugs me far less than it did when I was younger, and in the end I was able to get over it because of the characters, voice acting, and surprisingly detailed character designs. The movie also finds a good balance of being self aware, but not to a point where it's annoying. I also was not expecting that Fear and Loathing reference.

Drive-Away Dolls 2024
This movie feels like its halfway towards being a Coen brothers movie, but never goes all the way, which is disappointing. Pedro Pascal is in it the least and is allowed to go the biggest, while it seems like all of the other characters were held back in order to look more like a normal movie.
