  Denzel just might be the greatest ever. His physical acting in this movie, combined with a great script made for a very emotional two hours.

  Most people know someone, or of someone who is/was an addict - and Denzel takes you through so many of the highs and lows. Such a challenging movie emotionally - should I be rooting for this man? Why? At what cost? 

  Don’t think I’ll be flying in a plane for 10 years. I’ll just walk to places from now on.

  Wonka made me cry? 

  Not something I was expecting to type. 

  I came for the childhood nostalgia of a Roald Dahl classic tale. I stayed for the dissertation on police corruption, religious extortion and the failures of capitalism.
