  A wonderfully dark and hopeful movie!!! It’s the first new sci-fi movie I’ve seen in a long time where it takes complete advantage of its premise to amplify its voice. Nothing feels like it’s taken for granted.
  Beautiful and romantic, a story about how it’s never too late for change, and that how we regard ourselves dictates what we’re capable of. I did a fist bump at the ending.
  You’ve stolen my heart Bong Joon Ho.

  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 2023

  ★★★½ Watched 13 May 2023

  I was pretty nervous going into this one, I didn't know how Gunn was going to follow up Vol.2, but I think this might be the emotional swansong of the MCU. A perfect send off to that era of movies, it feels like one last hurrah. The dog days are over though, and they ended on a High note.

  There’s a really good story buried here, I don’t think the movie was interested in digging it up though. I loved everything with the Aunt and Suzume, I think they could've carried the movie on their own to be honest. There's just a lot that's not clicking with me on this.

  Lots of good wide crowd shots. Loved all the old coke bottle’s and machine's. Nothernlion kinda stole Bob’s fit with the brown jacket now that i think about it. My mom looked up who Pete Seeger was on her phone about 2/3’s into it.
