Life of Brian 1979
The Holy Grail only smidges this by a margin, the movie has some frowned upon jokes now, but I still think the satire of the movie and what it's really poking fun at is completely intact. The plot is simple, but it never needs to be complicated, on that same note with the jokes.
This movie exists so that every other historic comedy could run. Still a solid watch for what it represents, but honestly you stay for the song at the end.

Music is an absolute standout, wish I could kill my husband and make myself famous within the next 10 minutes. I love how every character is so distinct from one another with their quirks and tracks to accompany them.
Wish there was a bit more explanation for what brought together the characters during the start besides Roxy. I loved the performance in the courtroom scenes but I wish they sturred the conflict earlier. Everything can be forgiven basically for how good the music is honestly.
