  a generally well made and well performed, yet soulless and superficial film. some very shallow takes on capitalism and reactionary political movements, and not much else in the way of substance. confounds me why joaquin wasted his talent on two of these. the end is fun and it’s nice to see robert deniro, although every time he comes up i just remember how id rather be watching king of comedy
