  holy banger. cannot believe this is a real guy. such beautiful sets and design choices, Mishima was such a fun and crushing journey through some wonderfully designed surreal environments. the structure choice is incredible and I don't think I've ever seen a movie like this

  This one hit so close to home. Neurodegenerative disease is such a constricting force on us as human beings that we avoid thinking of for fear we'll actualize it. It is so deeply tragic that Robin Williams was claimed by it in the same lifetime he portrayed the man with arguably the most contributions towards its diminishment. This is not a perfect movie but it is so deeply human. There are people behind the shiftless masks fixed to their faces and the minute opportunities to peel those off are unbelievably important to their health and our humanity.

  Kind of insane and meaningless to put a star rating on this movie but I enjoyed it way way more than other people seem to be

  It is so different that the spectacle genuinely had me transfixed. So much of this movie is dog shit but it genuinely enveloped me in the insanity for a while. Happy FFC got his send off and I think perception of this movie will shift a little bit in the future
