The movie started off a bit shaky for me but kept growing on me and by the end I was really invested. The character of Bella constantly kept me guessing and invested in the plot and I really loved commitment to experience life for the sake of living and learning more about the world and yourself.

It wasn't offensively bad, but I was ultimately disappointed. I felt like the plot sometimes took way too long to progress and the other times flew by. It didn't feel very cohesive. Never seen the original musical, but I didn't really love the songs either besides Defying Gravity. Good performances especially by Ariana Grande and set/costume design. It wasn't a terrible movie but I had higher expectations from other people hyping it up and I did feel let down.
This movie truly embodied the feeling of horror to me. Everything from the cinematography and acting to the sound design invoked such an effective feeling of dread throughout the whole film that I don't feel like I've ever experienced before while watching a horror film. A truly unnerving experience from start to finish.
