  I started this at 1 in the morning not expecting to finish, but wow. The emotional intensity of this movie puts you in a completely new state of mind, and for the time being, it’s almost like you forget about everything outside of the film. Watching the characters go through their individual transformations was depressing but captivating at the same time. The unique style of this movie does an amazing job capturing the brutal reality of drug addiction. You’re really able understand the downward spiral of the four characters, and it was a different kind of scary.
