    Moral decay, a spiritual rot so strong it warps reality. The sin we pass through our seed, that perverts the consummation of love. The ethics of bringing a child into the world - ejected into a blighted life. The complete subjugation of man’s spirit by the worldly industrial machinations of the society. The tortured, ugliness within us for we were never taught to outgrow our madness.

    Rewatched it as I had seemed to find a personal meaning in this film upon some introspection.

    It reminded me of being swallowed in an unrelenting cityscape. The way we look, the things we consume. If they end up defining us, we will lose our individuality. Even in love, do all lovers love in recycled ways? Or do all lovers like to feel like they are inventing something novel and exclusive to themselves.

    One of my personal favourites. Drive is a cult classic, with Ryan Gosling and THAT 🦂 jacket immortalised as one of the most iconic crossovers that you never knew you needed.
